New features and improvements

• We have revamped the “Current visitors” view in the Systam Visit web service (RespaManager) for front desk (Officer) users. Previously separate fields (first name, last name, company, host) have now been combined into a more compact and easier-to-read format. The same view now also includes the often-requested license plate field, which shows whether the visitor has entered their license plate number or not. The license plate field is an optional view that can be easily activated by contacting our support at support@systam.fi.

• The ParkkiPate parking integration now allows for the issuance of parking permits also through the Systam Visit web service (RespaManager). The web service also displays whether a permit has been made for each visitor.

Bug fixes

• If a visitor was invited for consecutive days, the links in the advance text messages delivered to the phone number could erroneously lead to the information for the wrong day’s meeting. This has now been corrected, and the links will lead to the visits for the correct day.

New features and improvements

• When a visitor completed the Systam Pass induction on the self-service kiosk, the confirmation screen for a successful completion had an OK button. We removed the button because it was unnecessary, and attempts to press it sometimes caused accidental clicks in the sign-in information on the following screen. After a successful induction, the kiosk now proceeds automatically to continue the sign-in process.

Bug fixes

• The photo of the host (if one was uploaded to the service) did not display correctly to the arriving guest on the final sing-in screen. This has now been fixed.

• For some of our customers, the final sign-in screen displayed the host’s company information twice. This has now been corrected.

New feature and improvements

• New feature released: Free unused bookings automatically! You can enable a feature that frees up the space if a booking is not confirmed from the display 15 minutes after the meeting starting time. To unlock the new feature, go to the device settings in your Rooms Dashboard.
• Displays now respond to settings changes at lightning speed. For example, a logo change is visible on devices immediately.
• A green connection indicator at the bottom right of the screen shows whether the device can connect to Systam’s services or not.
• Devices in the same meeting room are now synchronized with each other. So, if a reservation is started from one display, it is immediately visible on another screen as well.
• Several significant reliability updates.

• We are pleased to announce a new support widget in the Systam Visit web service (RespaManager). The support widget can be opened by pressing the Help button in the bottom right corner of the web service. With the widget, you can seek help for problems and browse popular guidelines. If you can’t easily find an answer to your question, you can also send a support request through the widget. The widget operates in both Finnish and English.

• We also disabled autocomplete in username and password fields.

Bug fixes

• When an officer user signs a group into the Systam Visit web service (RespaManager), in some cases some guests remained in an “Expected” state for some reason. This has now been fixed, so all group members are signed in.
• A little more information has been added to the “Visitor badges running low” email sent to the assistant to facilitate response to the ending visitor badge roll.
• Improvements have been made to the KoneAccess integration for deactivating cards.

• When things work smoothly and you rarely use the service, it’s understandable that you might forget your password. So, we added a link to recover your password on the login page.

• When signing in with self-service kiosks, printing visitor badges sometimes took an uncomfortably long time. We identified the issue, and this update fixes the slowness in card printing.
