Release notes

Stay ahead with the latest innovations

Our release notes keep you updated on the latest features, improvements, and key changes – all in one clear view.

Version 1.12.1.0

  • Systam Visit

New features and improvements

  • New Abloy OS integration connects visitor management to your Abloy OS system. It enables the transfer of visitor data, as well as possible performed inductions to be utilized in access control. The integration also makes it possible to require a Social Security number as a part of visitor data. Ask more from our support team at support@systam.fi or +358 10 470 3603.
  • Improvements to KONE Access integration. If a visitor has an access card within KONE Access, the old card will be removed before assigning a new one.

Bug fixes

  • We sped up the host view in the Systam Visit web service because it was acting slow.
  • We fixed the problems that occurred when updating a visit. There were issues with not being able to change the host and losing already-signed visitors during the update. None of that should happen anymore.
  • The visit subject was left blank when creating a visit. We fixed it.

Version 1.12.0.0

  • Systam Visit

New features and improvements

  • For our customers who display active visitor information on e.g., info displays, it is now possible to modify the view with their own logo and background color.

Bug fixes

  • There was a bug in the QR code of the visitor’s pre-arrival message, which prevented the visitor from checking and completing their own information. It is now fixed.
  • In connection with calendar invites, the meeting room booking information was not saved correctly due to third-party interface changes. We modified the functionality and now the information is transferred correctly again.
  • The mobile notification to a host of an arriving visitor did not always offer the possibility to mark the visitor as recognized (if the visitor recognition feature was enabled). We fixed the problem.
  • The mobile button for opening a door delivered via the visitor’s pre-arrival message did not work correctly if the language selection was English. Now it works.
  • Deleting visitor data from the system did not always work properly. We fixed the problem.

Version 1.11.29.0

  • Systam Visit
New features and improvements
  • It is now possible to choose the background color of the QR code attached to the advance message sent to the visitor’s e-mail. Match it to your own company colors or any other color of your choice. We will implement the changes for you, contact our support at service@systam.fi or +358 10 470 3603.
Bug fixes
  • The printed visitor cards of guests on a multi-day visit did not allow passage through the gates on the second or subsequent days of the visit. We fixed the problem.
  • The link contained in the visitor’s SMS pre-arrival message was not displayed in its short form if the visit information was updated and the message was sent again. We took care of it and now the link is how we like most things, short and sweet.

Version 1.11.27.0

  • Systam Visit

New features and improvements

  • Logging in to our web service is now also possible with Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) single sign-on. No need to remember separate user ID’s, just one button for effortless logging in. However, because the button holds quite a lot of intricacies to identify access rights, the feature requires deployment with our support service. Ask more from our support at service@systam.fi or +358 10 470 3603.
  • The number of characters in a visitor’s pre-arrival text message (SMS) has been increased from 70 to 120 characters. The message will be delivered to the visitor the day before the visit and contains the greeting of your choice and an automatically generated link to the actual pre-arrival message (arrival instructions and QR code). You can edit the content of the text message in the web service settings.
  • The usability and readability of the QR code in the visitor’s pre-arrival message has been improved.
  • Several miscellaneous improvements to general usability.

Bug fixes

  • Retrieving guest Wi-Fi information to visitor cards in some cases caused the cards not to print. If the information could not be retrieved correctly from the server, the card did not print. Because visitor cards are in our opinion more important than a free Wi-Fi, we fixed the situation so that the card will be printed without the Wi-Fi information.
  • Our customers who display active visitor information, for example on info screens, may have noticed that visitor information and pictures were a bit mixed up for a while. Not anymore.
  • When a visit was created on the web service, an email of the visit details could not be sent to the one creating the visit. The problem is now fixed.
  • Printing a large number of visitor cards from the web service occasionally caused printing to jam and stop printing. We’ve increased the printing performance so that even large groups can now be pre-prepared smoothly at once.
