Systam’s board of directors has gained a top-level growth reinforcement as Fredrik Rönnlund started as a new board member on February 8, 2026.
Rönnlund is known for scaling product-led companies by combining technology, marketing, and sales in ways that directly drive growth and results. He has served as CEO of Leadoo and as a board member at Miradore, Kundo, Volumental, Refined, CityDigital, and Bonalive. Rönnlund is also the founder and former CEO of DigitalBooker, which grew into the market leader in Finland and was acquired by Visma in 2015.
Currently, Rönnlund serves as Chief Marketing Officer at the Finnish software company Vaadin, sits on several boards (including Software Finland and Hedengren), and is a member of the Directors’ Institute Finland.
By education, Rönnlund holds a Master of Science in Technology and an MBA – a perfect combination of technical expertise and commercial thinking. He has extensive experience in the Finnish software and growth company ecosystem, and has also gained an international perspective from years spent in California and Japan.
Fredu is exactly the reinforcement we were looking for on Systam’s board at this stage. He brings strong expertise in international SaaS growth and scaling, as well as in digital marketing. And when the chemistry clicks, it’s exciting to take the company to the next level together.

Systam’s board continues to be chaired by Systam CEO Anssi Tamminen, with long-standing business and finance professionals Mika Galkin and Vesa Tamminen serving as members.
Mika Galkin is an M&A advisor at MCF Corporate Finance, a professional board member, and an investor. Vesa Tamminen has served as CEO of several export-driven companies and is also an active board member, including at Calefa Oy.
Together, Systam’s board forms a strong combination of growth expertise, international experience, financial know-how, technology insight, and sustainable business thinking.
